Fat Girl in a Slutty Coooaaat... (and a Mix too)

Halloween is soon upon us and I for one can not wait.  It is the one time each year when most of us are given a free pass to be a kid again.  It's that time of year when you can really be whoever you want and no one will really care.  People say there is a feeling that they get around "The Holidays".  If that feeling is "annoyed" then yeah, I feel it.    But Halloween is the holiday that brings me the most joy and laughter.  I love trying to come up with costume ideas that people will remember.  It's (I have no idea why) important dammit!!!! If you see someone that has a good, creative costume, that you know they put some effort into, you kinda respect them a little bit more.  It's like having good taste in music.  Some of you will understand where I am coming from and some of you won't. To those who don't, enjoy your Raggedy Ann and Andy costumes.

With Adult Christmas fast approaching it means a few things...

* Fat girls in slutty outfits that probably shouldn't be in slutty   outfits (Sorry, but in the same regard no one wants to see me   in a thong either)
* Hot girls in slutty outfits that normally wouldn't be in slutty   outfits but feel Halloween is the one time each year where   they can show off the goods and not get harassed for it.
  (Carry on girls)
* Straight dudes dressed up like gay dudes
* Gay dudes dressed up like gayer dudes
* Boring people barely dressed up at all
* Awesome people that just "get it" and make some really   creative costumes.
My friends and I usually fall into that category
(not bragging... well maybe a little)

I don't really know what any of that has to really do with anything, but who really cares? I have a few Halloween Mixtapes that I am going to share with all of you over the next few weeks.  The first one has a good collection of songs from some of your favorite so-called "indie" bands.  I think it has a good flow to it and hopefully you will too.  Song titles and lyrics play a big part in the selection process (yes, there is a process dammit!!!) and some songs just feel like good Halloween songs.  So hopefully these songs will help you all find the Spirit of Adult Christmas deep inside.  And get ready to fire up the Devil Horns for next weeks Monster Mix \m/.  Enjoy!!!
